I using it for dosa it came excellent...this is first time i am using iron tawa. After cleaning by seeing manual then I tired first dosa it not came but after 2 dosa's they are coming like nonstick pan..

To my surprising the first day the first dosa came out pretty awesome. People say dosa stuck with the tawa, I think they didn't season it well before using, I washed it nicely and poured some oil and rubbed it thoroughly with onion, it worked like magic and the tawa awesomely working as non stick. Once the dosa is cooked it automatically comes out of the tawa u can see it in the edges. It really add taste and felt so easy cooking with it, we tried everything dosa, chappati, eggs etc the heat distribution is perfect even at the edeges.Tawa heats up in no time, be sure u only use medium flame. Food doest get burnt even if over cooked so happy smiles for that.Totally satisfied ????

I must say I am impressed with this tawa based on the given price. It's surdy, quite heavy. I was sceptical as the surface seems a little brittle but after heating the tawa with a little oil, cooling it off, wiping it before starting the cooking process for the first time, really gave me a good result. I am no expert in making dosa but it came out really well in the first go.Packaging was not upto the mark though, I received it in a box with sides torn out.
