Cinnamon bark oil (cinnamomum serum) is derived from the plant of the species name laurus cinnamomum and belongs to the lauraceae botanical family. How is essential oil extracted the essential oil is produced using an extraction method known as steam distillation. In this method the steam is used to rupture the membranes of the source to release the oils. The steam with the oil compounds is then collected in a condenser where the oil is separated from the water vapour to form pure essential oil. Directions for use: For topical use: dilute 5 drops of cinnamon oil in 10ml of any carrier/ base oil then apply to desired area. Diffusion: adding 5-8 drops in a diffuser will give off a pleasurable aroma creating a pleasant atmosphere on any occasion. Prior to using cinnamon oil for the first time test a drop or two on a small area of your skin and wait 24 hours to see if any reaction occurs.
